All items sold by popievintage are unique, one-of-a-kind vintage pieces. As such, all sales are considered final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds except in the specific circumstances outlined below.

We strongly encourage you to read each product description carefully, including measurements, condition notes, and any mentioned signs of wear, before placing your order. Please do not hesitate to contact us at paulinestaron@gmail.com if you have any questions about an item prior to purchasing.

the nature of vintage — please read before purchasing

All pieces sold by popievintage are authentic vintage and second-hand garments, many of which are over 20 years old. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge and accept the inherent characteristics of vintage clothing described below.

Signs of wear & minor imperfections. Vintage pieces may show subtle signs of age, including minor wear, small pulls, slight fading, or other imperfections consistent with their history. Any significant flaws will always be clearly noted and photographed in the product listing. We encourage you to read each description carefully and to contact us at paulinestaron@gmail.com if you have any questions before placing your order.

Scent. Despite being professionally cleaned, some vintage garments may retain a faint smell inherent to aged textiles. This is a natural characteristic of vintage fabric and is not considered a defect. A gentle airing or dry cleaning upon receipt is usually sufficient.

Colour accuracy. Photographs are taken in the best possible lighting conditions; however, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings, brightness, and calibration. We cannot guarantee a perfect colour match between the photographs and the item as seen in person.

Sizing. Vintage sizing does not correspond to modern sizing standards. We always provide precise measurements in the product description — please refer to these rather than the label size when assessing fit.

Purchasing vintage means embracing the unique story and patina of each piece. These characteristics are not considered defects and do not qualify as grounds for a return or refund.

exceptions — when a return may be accepted

A return request may be considered only in the following cases:

— The item received does not match the description provided on the website (significant discrepancy in condition, measurements, or authenticity).
— The item arrived damaged due to shipping.
— You received the wrong item.

In these cases, you must contact us at paulinestaron@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order, with photos as evidence. Returns requested after this window will not be accepted. All approved returns must be sent back in their original condition, unworn, with tags. Return shipping costs are entirely at the customer's expense.

non-returnable items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances: sale items, gift cards, and items that have been worn, washed, or altered after delivery.

exchanges

As each item in our collection is a unique vintage piece, exchanges are subject to availability and must be approved by our team before any item is sent back. Please contact us at paulinestaron@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order. All return shipping costs are entirely at the customer's expense. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

14-day right of withdrawal — European Union

In accordance with European consumer law, buyers based in the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving their order, without providing a reason. To exercise this right, please contact us at paulinestaron@gmail.com before the end of this period. The item must be returned in its original condition — unworn, unused, with tags and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are at the buyer's expense. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned item in acceptable condition.

If a return is approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional processing time.
